NINA KUTTLER

Nina Kuttler is an artist and writer based in Hamburg, Germany. Her multi-disciplinary practice revolves around ecological awareness, the Anthropocene and a sense of interconnectedness between species, time, the self and others. In her work, cultural knowledge and mythologies are intertwined with historic approaches to natural science as well as contemporary methods of research. From 2013 to 2019, she studied Fine Arts and Philosophy in Hamburg, Germany and Hangzhou, China. In 2017, she took part in the Rupert’s Alternative Education programme in Vilnius, Lithuania. In 2018, she was awarded the Artistic Research Fellowship Tandem by the German Federal Environmental Agency. In 2020, she will take part in a residency at the National Centre for Biological Science and the Goethe-Institut in Bangalore (India). Her Works were recently exhibited and screened at Editorial, Vilnius (Lithuania); Harburger Kunstverein, Hamburg (Germany); Thkio Ppalies, Nicosia (Cyprus); ENSBA, Paris (France); Kaunas Artists House, Kaunas (Lithuania); MOM Art Space, Hamburg (Germany); Contemporary Art Centre, Vilnius (Lithuania); the Goldsmiths University, London (UK) Temporary Gallery, Cologne; Kunsthaus, Hamburg and Produzentengalerie, Hamburg (Germany).
